Located at the center of the Columbia College campus, the J. Drake Edens Library provides a broad collection of print materials, electronic resources, and media that support the College's liberal arts curriculum and professional programs. Because the library serves a women's college, the collection also focuses on issues and concerns affecting women.

The Edens Library contains a collection of over 177,000 volumes, subscribes to over 400 journals and magazines, and provides full-text access to thousands more through online databases. Internet access is provided at the library catalog stations. The library's media collection contains over 30,000 items, including audio and videocassettes, compact discs, DVDs, kits, and public school textbooks.
